To all my favorite patients:

After a long and arduous decision-making process, I have decided to retire from my beloved Rochelle Dental to spend some quality years with my wonderful wife Nancy, 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

To say my years at the office were spent working would be a stretch; I loved every minute of it.  I would often say I felt guilty coming to the office and having so much fun when others had to go to work. Of course, what made it so enjoyable were the amazing staff and the most wonderful patient pool a dentist could ever ask for.

Walking into the office always brought a smile to my face, anticipating another day of family stories and healthy teeth.  Every time I’d tell a patient I’d keep their teeth until they were 106, they’d have a little chuckle, but once a few years would go by they’d start to realize I meant it.  A little daily homecare and a regular checkup have made dentures a thing of the past at Rochelle Dental.

Fortunately, we didn’t have a very large staff. Those wonderful few who came and worked here not only cared for and loved my patients, but stayed with us for 20+ years. You all remember Camille, Ita, Doreen, Belle, Julia, and some even remember Nancy and Marge back in the day. We wouldn’t have been able to deliver the warm caring dentistry you came to expect without them. We could all sit around after you guys would go home and talk about what nice folks you were, and how lucky we were to be able to serve you. The fact that we could all talk about all of you by name, and about your children and your parents, made it that much more enjoyable for all of us. Thank you so much for that.

It has truly been a pleasure and an honor treating all of you and your families for the past 38 years.  I wouldn’t change a moment of it for anything. I was truly blessed.

With great excitement and enthusiasm, we are turning our great little office over to two of the highest qualified, hardworking and caring dentists we could find.  Dr. Angela Lo and Dr. Tom Viccaro both graduated from Rutgers Dental School together, done residency programs and spent some time out in the workforce before deciding to join as partners.  They work remarkably well as a team and have a great work ethic and positive, fun attitude we all love around here.  My hope for the office is that you guys will be gentle on them while you’re breaking them in.  As far as I’m concerned, we three dentists are lucky you’ve chosen us.  I let them know, as a retiring Rochelle Park dentist told me, “This is a great little town, if you treat the patients with love and care, they will certainly return the favor.”

We sincerely hope you’ll continue to bless Rochelle Dental with your presence for many years to come.

In return, we promise, Drs. Lo and Viccaro promise to continue providing the loving, quality care you’ve all come to know and expect.

Thank You,

Dr. M
