Check Ups

A healthy, beautiful smile starts with clean teeth! At Rochelle Dental, our doctors and caring team offer routine check-ups and dental cleanings to help keep your smile healthy.

Routine preventative visits are crucial to your dental health, because they help maintain healthy gums and teeth. Prevention is key in minimizing the chances of developing gum disease, cavities, and other dental issues. At your check-up and cleaning appointment, our doctors and team will carefully perform the following in order to keep your teeth in tip top shape!

Comprehensive Exams

Our doctors will perform a thorough and detailed exam to check for any cavities or dental conditions that could damage your oral health. Dr. Angela Lo and Dr. Thomas Viccaro will patiently review all of their findings and recommendations with you and answer any questions you may have regarding your mouth and dental treatment.

Oral Cancer Screening

Early detection is key in the fight against cancer, and this includes oral cancer. When detected early, oral cancer is more likely to be successfully treated than when it progresses to a more advanced stage. At every exam and routine visit, our specially trained doctors will check your soft tissues, gums, lips, throat, face, mouth, and surrounding areas for any abnormalities.

Dental Cleanings

Our team will diligently work to remove any dental calculus, also known as tartar and plaque, from your teeth. Build-up on your teeth can lead to dental issues such as gum recession, bone loss, and tooth decay. To finish up your cleaning, we will polish your teeth for a bright, healthy smile.

Digital X-rays & Intraoral Photos

We may use x-rays and intraoral cameras to further evaluate your oral health. At Rochelle Dental, we utilize the latest technology to evaluate your dental health. Our digital x-rays are fast, accurate, and expose you to less radiation than traditional film x-rays. Our special intra-oral cameras produce high quality images that offer patients the opportunity to see their mouths from a different perspective. With our x-rays and cameras, our doctors can diagnose oral conditions efficiently and accurately and even show our patients what we see in their mouths.
